Modern furniture normally refers to furniture made in the late 19th Century through the present, which is greatly influenced by modernism. Unlike before, modern furniture is also made from a variety of types of wood, including mahogany, cherry, maple, walnut, etc. Most furniture today comes with at least one warranty (often two) and can generally withstand humidity, sunlight, heat, moisture, stains, dirt and dust. With its popularity and wide variety, modern furniture has changed the way people live, eat, relax, and watch.
